A Name and a Blessing

He took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. (Mark 10:16)

The church that we belong to has a special ordinance that is performed in which the father gives their child a name and a blessing.

Typically the blessings are usually done about a month after the babies birth. But due to our babies prematurity we held off taking them anywhere public until RSV season was over. We decided to bless the babies the Sunday after Easter.

It was an amazing day for our family.

The babies behaved just like the angels they are. They smiled through their blessings.

We feel so incredibly blessed that these special children were entrusted to us. They are miracles. They are such beautiful people. Every day we are reminded how special they are and how blessed we are to be their parents. We love our children and cannot imagine life without them.

We love our little big family.

  2. I love your family picture, I can see such a resemblance between all of them now, even with Brighton. So cute, and good job for keeping them away for so long. I'm glad they all behaved for you for the blessing, what a miracle!

  4. So cute!! If it makes you feel any better, we don't have the prematurity excuse, and we still haven't blessed ours, at almost 4 months. lol. We're going to this Sunday though!!

  5. Your babies are so cute! I can't believe you have 4 kids! You are a super hero. I was looking at your pictures and your little boys face looks just like Miles did when he was a baby. Does he have ecezma too? Or does he just have rosy cheeks? Either way- he is super cute!
